The Housing Authority of the Town of Glastonbury successfully completed the Welles Village conversion of the property’s rental assistance from the Public Housing program to the Section 8 platform though HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (“RAD”) program. The conversion will support GHA’s mission in providing quality, affordable housing to current and future residents and give GHA the flexibility to manage this real estate asset to meet the community’s needs over time.
