The Housing Authority of the Town of Glastonbury offers 434 affordable apartments in five Glastonbury housing developments, and 33 Housing Choice Vouchers. All our properties are in wooded, park-like settings, convenient to the center of town and all shopping.

Welles Village
Located a short walk from schools, shopping, and recreation, Welles Village consists of 199 duplex and single-apartment dwellings with one to four bedrooms. Each apartment has a full backyard, off-street parking, and washer and dryer hook-ups.

Center Village
Center Village is a modern community for senior citizens with all the features necessary for a comfortable retirement, including a lounge with fireplace, modern kitchen appliances, and an easy walk to local restaurants, shopping, and other amenities in downtown Glastonbury.

Village Green/Knox Lane Annex
Village Green (also known as Knox Lane) is a senior community of one-bedroom garden apartments with community laundry room located across from the historic Hubbard Street town green, convenient to shopping, banking, and other amenities in the center of Glastonbury.

Herbert T. Clark – Congregate
Located near the center of town, Herbert T. Clark House offers 45 one-bedroom apartments and congregate care for senior citizens needing assistance with activities for daily living. Daily meals are provided for each resident, as well as weekly chore services and 24-hour attendant.

Herbert T. Clark House – Assisted Living
This facility provides 25 apartments and affordable assisted living care for senior citizens, including 24-hour attendant, weekly housekeeping and laundry, maintenance and chores, and scheduled transportation for shopping, recreation, and health care for appointments and more.

Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8
The Housing Authority of the Town of Glastonbury operates a small Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly Section 8) under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The program is currently closed to new applicants.
